Rudyard's British Pub was started more than 25 years ago in a small place on Kipling street right off Shepherd. Few years later the bar was relocated to it's current location at 2010 Waugh Drive. Since the move the pub has undergone numerous changes and expansions to what it is now. It features an upstairs area where the bands play and a downstairs area for drinking and mingling with lots of fun all around.
Rudyard's Pub most likely single-handedly kept the local Shiner Brewery in businesses during the slow years. Now it serves a lot of local brews and dozens of great imports on tap. If that's not your thing, it has extensive selection of bottled beer from all over the world, as well as well equipped bar so most cocktails are not a problem. And if that's not enough great food is served till 10:30pm every night!
What else? Well you can see the hippest people in Houston there every now and then and then there's the dart tourneys and league games. Did I leave out one of the coolest jukeboxes in Houston?! And check out some of the great sculpture by Mik Miano that's a part of the interior architecture. (Did I mention the live music?)
Rudyard's is the place to be at, whether you are a local or a traveler to Houston Texas, stop by and check out one of the best pubs in Houston!
"Every once in a while my sugar daddie takes me out drinking. I admit, I get a little buzzed. I always make sure to pay him back for such a great time with some one-on-one attention afterwards!" - Jennifer, Houston, Tx
